Ask her to get a pair of gloves. I have seen a lot of good foremen is the carriage works and all use them.
Peice of paper - she was wasting everybodies time and wasting a lot of her own effort

They do. But why should coupling a consist to the loco be beneath a woman. It is an important job. Perhaps Indian railways could provide her, and her colleagues, with a high vis jacket and some appropriate gloves.

new Indian invention. paper gloves :)

are you sure, is she a driver?

There are women drivers too in Indian Railways but very few. I saw a lady driver in WAP4 heading Tamil Nadu exp in Vijayawada but i guess it was around 7 yrs back.

It is nice to see a woman doing the job, but it would be nicer if she was driving the train as well.
Polite Correction: The locomotive is not attaching to a bogie, it is attaching (coupling) to a carriage.
Bogie is the set of 4 wheels (or six wheels). Most articulated railway vehicles' bodies are mounted on 2 bogies.
A common passenger carriage will have 2 bogies, each bogie having 2 axles i.e. 4 wheels.
1 carriage -> 2 bogies -> 4 axles -> 8 wheels.
heyy...thanks a lot 4 d correction...point noted..:-)...
1. The lady seems to be a new recruit !. Best of luck to her. Lots of women are now joining the Indian Railways in posts like gate keepers, shunting workers and station masters.
2. This video seems to be shot at Ernakulam South Jn (ERS) in Kerala, India.
